Welcome.
This is the web site of Borth Beach Mission and on this page we hope to introduce you to what BBM is about.
The Beach Mission has been running in Borth for over 130 years and has had the involvement of organisations such as C.S.S.M and Scripture Union in the past.
Currently the mission is run by a group of independent Christians and most members of the team have been involved for at least 5 years. One member has been taking part in the mission for over 15 years.
Over the past few years the mission has changed and we have moved from outside on the beach to an indoor venue, where we run a children’s holiday club for one week during the summer holiday period.
As well as the daily holiday club session each morning we also run various afternoon activities such as sports and games, tide fight, pictures in the sand and spot the team.
Evening activities in the past have included a barbecue, talent shows, puppet shows and Gospel concerts.
Usually the week has a theme and some of the past themes have been Treasure Island, Passport, Code breakers written by one of our team members and things like Shipshapes produced by Scripture Union.
The programme for 2007 is called Grand Prix and will feature the racing driver Jan Carlo Fizzy Cola.
